About the School

A brief look at St. Elizabeth School.  The school was established in 1966.  The school is sponsored by St. Elizabeth Parish, and affiliated with St. Francis of Assisi Parish.  St. Elizabeth School is accreditated by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

St. Elizabeth School is winner of the National Elementary School Recognition Program for Excellence, awarded by US Department of Education. 

Type of school:

St. Elizabeth School is a Catholic elementary school for boys and girls, grades Preschool-8.  

Faculty: 

Forty-five (45) lay professionals staff the school.  They are certified professionals with many advanced degrees.

Enrollment: 

The school has a total enrollment of 511 students.

Class Size: 

Twenty-five (25) to thirty (30) students per homeroom (maximum).

The Preschool Program:

We have a total of two classes.  A 3-year old morning program is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  A 4-year old afternoon program is offered Monday through Friday.  An enrichment program is offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for both 3-year olds and 4-year olds.

The Kindergarten Program:

We have a total of three classes with 20 students per class.  Each classroom is staffed with a teacher and a full-time aide.

Daycare is available at St. Elizabeth School before school from 7:00am to 8:00am and after school from 3:00pm to 6:00pm.  Daycare is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note:  The rates below reflect the tuition rates for 2010-2011  school year as established by St. Elizabeth Advisory Board. 

Financial Aid:

Archdiocesan application available upon request at www.adw.org.

Special Programs:

French for grades 7 and 8

Spanish for grades K through 8.
