How many tags do I get for the family?
One tag is available for each family. We will supply each family with extra fastener(s) so that the tag can be moved to the correct vehicle for pick-up.
When and how are additional tags issued to families?
There are a limited number of extra tags available for distribution to families.

What happens when my spouse or another family member makes an unscheduled pickup - without the tag?
On occasion, you may need your spouse or another family member to make the
pickup without a tag. Simply pull into the carpool line like you
currently do. When you reach a staff member in the pickup area who has a walkie-talkie, just ask them to page your child. The process may take a little longer than it will with the tag, and maybe a little bit longer than it does today. We do however discourage unscheduled pickups as this will negate some of the benefits of the
carpool system.
Will I need to place my tag near a reader?
No. The tags have a 20 ft transmission range, and the tag readers (located in the school’s parking lot) have a 200 ft read range. The carpool system will detect your vehicle as soon as it’s in range of the tag readers.
Will the pickup driving pattern remain the same?
Yes. You will still enter from Montrose Rd, and proceed as usual into the pickup area. The tag readers will detect your arrival once you enter the school lot.
Does the new system require tags for the morning drop-off?
No. Drop-off procedures and policies will remain unchanged.
