St. Fidelis of Sigmaringen
Dear Parents, Guardians, and Friends of St. Elizabeth School,
After three decades of service to this Archdiocese, Mrs. Louise Paul, our beloved vice-principal, will be retiring at the end of this school year. It certainly is with a heavy heart that I announce her retirement. Mrs. Paul, who has been at St. Elizabeth School for three years, has been able to see our school grow spiritually and academically. She was and continues to be instrumental in problem solving, giving advice, and offering a hug when needed. It is always a pleasure to walk past Mrs. Paul’s office and find a group of children there who are simply stopping by to say, “Hello.”
Prior to coming to St. Elizabeth School, Mrs. Paul was a teacher and eventually vice-principal at St. Ambrose School in Cheverly, Maryland. This is where Mrs. Paul and I began our professional relationship as well as our friendship.
Mrs. Paul’s tireless efforts enabled St. Ambrose School to grow from 261 students in 2000 to 366 students in 2005. Mrs. Paul gives her all to everything she does, and I wish to give her special thanks for saying, “yes” to coming to St. Elizabeth School back in 2005.
This is a bittersweet moment in our school’s history. We,
of course, don’t want to lose Mrs. Paul, but on the other hand, we want to wish
her well as she begins this new journey in her life.
Godspeed, Mrs. Paul!
Respectfully,
Vincent P. Spadoni
Principal
