Archdiocese of Washington Curriculum Standards St. Elizabeth School follows the academic standards put forth by the Arcdiocese of Washington.
Archdiocese of Washington The Archdiocese of Washington includes more than 540,000 Catholics. Its 106 schools educate more than 34,500 children while its service agencies, including Catholic Charities, Anchor Mental Health and Victory Housing, have made the archdiocese the largest private social service provider in the region. Every year, thousands of people receive counseling, shelter, adoption and foster care assistance, health care, immigration and legal aid, affordable housing and more through the care of archdiocesan staff and volunteers. New immigrants find assistance at the many archdiocesan ministries serving our diverse community, including the Spanish Catholic Center.
Middle States Accreditation The Middle States Commission on Elementary Schools site gives information on different schools that are accreditated schools or are seeking accreditation.  Descriptions of Accreditated Schools (DOAS) descriptions are general in nature and organized around information parents usually want to know when they are considering a school and background information that other schools usually want to have when accepting a student. All schools that are currently in membership with the Commission on Elementary Schools and/or the Committee on Institution-Wide Accreditation are included in this registry. Schools that are fully accreditated will have a "Last Accreditation Date". If no date is listed, then the school is in the process of moving through the multi-year accreditation protocol.  Once on the site you can click on registry and then a list of DOAS schools.
